I've been spending ~~A LOT~~ TOO MUCH time on the Enchanted Doll website. Slightly obsessed with how Marina Bychkova is able to create such exquisite pieces. Her dolls are all made in porcelain and are ball jointed. Marina then paints them and as you can see, they are pretty lifelike! Honestly some of the outfits are just bananas. as i get older, the question of dressing appropriately is often on my mind. don't worry, i'm not one to judge (too much), if you've still got it - then by all means FLAUNT it. however with soo much skin being shown and short shorts and hemlines that resemble wide belts it's almost like all i want to do is cover up! i bought a vintage short kimono piece a few months ago and i simply can't get enough of it! it's all about pairing it back with something current - like my leather pants. xo

i was in mexico not too long ago as some of you may remember. the purpose was to attend D&D's nuptials. i had such a good time i still taste the vodka pepino's on my tongue when i start to think about it. pleasantries aside. D&D came into my life not too long ago, but the kind that always leave a mark. every time we see each other it's as though no time has gone by. when i look at the two of them - i truly believe in the meaning of marriage. looking forward to the london reunion in august. xo

i have this thing that when i wake up and have no time to get 'my shit together' aka - i totally slept in - i find that a glop of lipstick in a really bright shade actually makes people think that i've put effort into my outfit (when really i'm wearing the pants that were on the bedroom floor). the only annoying thing about this fabulous trick is that my lips are always stained at the end of the day! not quite sure what i'm doing wrong.... i stick to bright pinks and bright reds, they go with everything. oh yeah - and the other thing is that men tend to not like red lipstick..... is it because they don't want it on their face? please - do tell.
